How to Bring Awareness Back to Your Body

The rapid in breaths activate the sympathetic nervous system they arouse us into alertness. Longer the exhalation. The softer the belly. More settled the eyes. If you'd like to add awareness of sounds from your environment that's great find a sound that's soothing. Just allow the sounds to arrive and just rest your attention without trying to change anything about your environment. So every breath every moment even when our minds wander or an opportunity to just return and soothe ourselves back into calm.
