The f t p is the percentage of oxygen intake relative to v o two max. The more arobic capacity we can get, or i e, arobic training, will allow your f t p to grow. There's other tools in w k o five that i use to determine y f t p may not be going ut. I also probably encourage this person to do more volume, and that will lay the groundwork for a higher f t p in the future. We need that data to make more intelligent decisions.
