Is There a Vibratory Cycle Between Car Dependence and Cities?
There's a vicious cycle here where because we've designed our cities so that you a car is necessity to get around. That makes the solution to those problems, more spending on getting people around in cars. I don't think car dependency and cities work together. That's old news that goes back 60 70 years. But we are still trying to make them work together. And then we have an energy in an era when we're facing a climate emergency should be compelling us to find much less energy intensive ways of getting around.
