The Negative Experiences of Birthdays
Everybody at every different age is insecure about basically lots of the same things, just coming at it from different angles. It could be around negative experiences of gifting like we could have been criticized about a gift we gave on someone's birthday or never having received gifts on a birthday. And what we can find then is that as a way of being protective, we decide right, I hate birthdays, I'm gonna do anything for my birthday. But unfortunately, even though, you know, we can protect us in the sense of keeping us in that sort of uncomfortable comfort zone.
