Getting a Representative Sample of a Feed Lot

silage is a little more complicated to sample for sure. What about grain? It's probably a little more straightforward that way. By the time you get an analysis back, you really don't, the feeds probably gone or the grains probably gone. If you're a calcalf operation where you bring it in some grain or you've grown some grain that you pretty much would have enough to feed over the course of a winter, you could grab a sample as that grains being unloaded from a truck or being argued into a bin. You could do your own bushel weight. You can do visual inspection for ergot just to get a feel for what that grain looks like. Okay. So how
