The Cognitive Dissonance of Power Lifting
When i retired from power lifting, i had a couple issues. One of the biggest changes was it doesn't have to be one rep max for my success. For me at this point, it's like wool. Instead of chasing a five 35 onner at max, or a five forty one er at max, how about i chase like a snatch grip dead lift for a five? Or a ten re, a certain ten rep max o my front squat? Like having these specific goals isn't as important anymore.
