The Importance of Rehydration After Exercise

Taking fluids is critical for restoring the cardiovascular system. Dehydration has important effects on the brain, and there's actually not a lot of research around the effects of dehydration on cognitive function after exercise. Consuming fluids that contain electrolytes like sodium and potassium is more beneficial for maintaining fluid levels during recovery than drinking water.
