The Importance of Technique in Olympic Weightlifting
Box squat is a superior method of squat, says Blue Josh. Box squats should be done with your hips down and not up in the air. Olympic weight lagers never pull standing on a box; it's quite common overseas. You need to use a boat for two accelerations: leg acceleration and back acceleration. The bar going forward means weakness for the posterior.
