The Evolution of Loudness

I was obsessed with making an Alabama Shakespeare record have as much low end as a James Blake record. I know that that's a different kind of process. But generally when I'm even start a mix, I'm kind of pushing into, into a bunch of stuff that's making it loud to begin with. So you just kind of monitor an input and then run that through the computer and then run the, that output back into the console to monitor. It is kind of convoluted but you hear a different sound that way? Yeah. Well, no, it worked. Awesome.
