When i was growing up in the sixties and seventies, we had white kids, black kids, chinese kids, russian kids, indian kids. The existence of so many categories of people distributed the group's rivalries widely and thinly. And interestingly, the groups generally got along and respected their differences. If you buy into the concept of bipa, you have left a multi polar world and now mentally occupy a bi polar world. A bi polar world is much more contentious and dangerous than amulti polar world.
