Ihya Ibn Adi and the Trinity

Al-Farabi's views on religion are designed to allow philosophers to exchange ideas at a universal level, which transcends sectarian disagreement. Ih ibn Adi wrote numerous treatises defending his conception of the Trinity. He discusses Kalam arguments in several works, including another refutation of the doctrine of acquisition. On the Monophysite view, Christ was a full unity of man and God.
