Are You Asking Me for Help?
A lot of us got into management because we like people and want to help them do their jobs better. And so there's probably an awful lot of us listening right now that are very much in that bucket where we are very ampathetic and we are fixers. So this might be the most important thing that we say this whole episode, is when somebody does have that gripe session, the clarifying question is, are you asking for help, or do you just want to tell me about this? Agin: "I can help you come up with some strategies to approach it if you like"
