Is There a Time Frame for Nephrotoxicity?
Piptazo and vancomycin clearly bind to oats, the organic anion transport, O1 and O3. If piptazo is blocking that, then it's just slowing the rate of intracellular accumulation. So you could be seeing an increase in creatinine while piptazos also having a nephrot protective effect is certainly possible. And that was also seen with immunoglycosides.
