The Concern About Activated Charcoal
In general, we recommend after because that's when it always happens. Most of the acetaminophen cases anywhere within four hours is totally reasonable. In our area, we're fairly aggressive and about giving activated charcoal. And so we actually do have pretty good uptake. There's a lot of nausea vomiting with activated charcoal.
