The Variable Type Face
The type face is drawn from a blend of the current logo and then looking to some of the kind of historic iterations of the logo. So, starting there with a chunky face that is lowercase as is the evidence logo, and those slab serifs we started withthose. But then wanted to build in a bit of kind of the warmth and charm and humanity so Charles started to build in the kind of exaggerated ink traps.
