New zealand iron man champion has been on the show for two years. Nino started out doing trathlon and studying bio chemistry at university. Tried to become a professional in trithlon, but was chronically overtraining himself. Started experimenting with low carb diet after hearing tim noakes talk about it. Has now developed his own heart rate strap that he says helps him run faster.
