Is HRV a Tool for Adapting to Stress?
The term minimum effective dose gets tossed around with regard to training. Is HRV a useful tool in both of those scenarios? That's a loaded question for a number of reasons. I guess because adaptation in an athlete that enhances performance can be could come from various qualities such as physicality power, strategic skill acquisition and becoming better at changing direction. We can see improvements in performance without changes in fitness and strength so so it's hard to say that yeah HRV conclusively can can be used for that reason.
