Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian

Great literature and befriending great characters frequently comforts us. Two books that make a beautiful complimentary reading experience are Herman Melville's Moby Dick and Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian. Where we end up is where we begin, but returning to the beginning, we find ourselves renewed. The greatest books are circular. They are the ones that beg us to return to the very first line right after reading the last line.
