How to Maximize the Health of Aging

Health span is living for as long as we can, while doing our best to prevent deterioration from the diseases of aging. The specific of how to best mitigate the damaging effects of aging specifically are subject to a little bit of individual variation. But there are certain rule of thumb strategies that are able to have a positive effect on health and possibly even longevity. In some cases, it might mean optimizing our diet around inclusion of specific nutrients. And lastly, cognitive and physical performance, usually through deep understandings of biology, health span or healthy, functional life span is especially of interest to me.
