Grave Robbery

Grave robbing is probably more of these than outright murder because it's just easier to steal a dead body. The bad news or good news, depending on how you look at it, is that not all of the people whose bones got sent to universities were murdered before having their remains desecrated. Medicine was certainly advanced by it, but there was a lot of stolen cadavers. It was just a huge trade in it.
