The idea is that if it tries to go down there, we have cells that will kill the virus. mRNA stands for messenger RNA and all of our cells use this as a code. When that mRNA for the vaccine is given to you, it goes into your cells. Your body can't distinguish that protein from any of the other proteins that it's making. It stimulates not only antibody response, but also T-cell response.
