i want to start with a concept of self regulation, which i think has to do right with this idea of coming home to yourself. Self ation in this way asks us to connect to not just our emotions, but our sematic landscape. We are taught in this culture about being controlled from the outside and so its it's an anarchistic idea that you would move that locus of control internally. I think it is threatening. So there's all that dismissing, like, what? What kind of wisdom comes from connecting to internally?
