How Does Blood Gas Partition Coefficient Affect Induction?
The ambient pressure doesn't affect it, but the temperature does. Blood gas partition coefficient is how the gas will partition itself between two phases after after equilibrium has been reached. For example, take nflorine: It has a blood gas partition coeffition of one point seven. A higher solubility means that going to have need more anaesthetic to be dissolved - which is slower onset.
