Most of that inflammation as we age is coming from the gut and lipopolysaccharide and the toxin. This is so other studies show that if you give animals charcoal, activated charcoal, they basically retain most of their lean muscle mass - even in a very advanced age. Coincidentally, drugs that act as an antagonist of the endotoxin receptor TLR4 have been shown to extend lifespan. That shows kind of confirms that these two are really driving the aging process or at least the morbidity process.
This week, Paul has Georgi Dinkov back on the podcast for the third time to cover a plethora of topics: the benefits versus risks of carbohydrates, polyunsaturated fatty acids in cell membranes, the root causes of diabetes and cancer, and so much more.
