What's Happening During Expressive Writing?

mindfulness seemed to be the lynch pin, says Ben Absote. Is there anything else that you've seen as a common practice that didn't move the needle? Like journalling, going into natures stillness. There's an overlap between what we're cultivating in mindfulness and what expressive writing is. We are now understanding that the mind, the brain is not all that different than the body. And these are the practices we can do with regularity like 30 minutes of cardio three to five times a week.
