How to Deal With Half Guards, Lockdown and Reverse Alheva

When you're playing the half guard, your ability to manage frames and be in base is really important. In a lock down it's hard to effectively generate base from there because your legs are entangled around the other guy's leg. You can't really use your feet to generate force if they wrap their arm around your head. So learning to block the cross face becomes very, very important in that situation. But w what you can do is swing their leg out, like hamhand on a clock, which is essential going to dictate where their hips go.
