The Differences Between Working Memory and Long Term Memory

Working memory is essentially where we operate in real time and respond but it has a very limited capacity. Long term memory has vast storage capacity and is constantly building up so the task of education is to build up long term memory. Teachers that deliver instructional material in nicely organized thematic ways in linear ways make it clear what's what and what's not what for students.
