World fast runners typically go very hard in their workouts. It's kind of, you need to think a bit like a chess player because if you kind of go all out on one session it has consequences for the upcoming two, three, four sessions. So when running I think intensity steering is important and always having control over the total accumulation of load that you put on an athlete.
