Don't try a changing someone's deeply held beliefs on day one. A doctor should be a consultant too, they're just going to have questions. Don't talk about potassium and and potassium levels - that is such a distraction. Just focussing on how much protein should i eat every day solves a lot of problems for a lot of people.
