The Importance of Self-Care

The entire US economy is built on the unpaid or underpaid labor of women. So we are living in an economy that is incentivized to have us believe that the solution to our problems is to buy something or to work harder. Because when you believe that the problem is inside of you, then you don't question the status quo. You don't ask yourself why doesn't my employer give me paid sick days off? Right? Why isn't there parental leave in America?"
