"OCR is almost like a gateway drug for non-runners to try some running and it gets them hooked on it," says Kira Damado. OCR athletes have traditional running coaches as part of their training. "There are plenty of people who are like I don't want to get big from lifting, but there's nothing wrong with that however if you like lifting they continue to lift just fine."
