"I think what I hoped that the Olympics would do is I hope it would trickle down, you know, the money coming in would help these skateboard companies and skate shops," he says. "To me, it's the ultimate sport. It's actually the only sport I really care about because I can feel it in my body when I see somebody make it." The landscape of skateboarding has changed a lot since his days as an amateur competitor. He hopes more kids will learn how to trickles dance for the first time.
