You're looking to get a specific purpose. You want full hip extension, you want a decent weight and that's probably about it. I often try and get people doing like close grip snatches with really lightweight just because that's an easy way for them to have extension. That's it. They don't need to learn to do a full overhead squat or catch in the bottom of a deep squat. None of that stuff is overly beneficial.
