How to Eat for Gut Health

Matt, there's a lot of talk about good gut health. Apart from fermented foods, what should you be eating for good gut health? Well, I've got five guidelines really for good gut Health which is a sort of universal one. The first is to eat, try and eat a great diverse range of plants. 30 plants a week gives you the optimum gut health if you can manage it. Second thing is eat the rainbow. And we talked about coffee as a great source of polyphenols,. Brightly colored plants, berries, nuts, seeds, extra virgin olive oil, dark chocolate, even red wine are good sources ofpolyphenols.
