One of my favorite exercises that I talk about in the book is gratitude letters. You just send them a little note that says I just want you to know I'm grateful for XYZ because it gets us out of our own head are worry about like being perfectly articulate about making things weird. And I think anyone will wind up having a positive experience from that. So I did this actually recently with a professor.
