Oca's research lab has found that people can increase their positive emotions, not in a a wopping way. It's just a subtle upward shift in every day mild positive emotions. And what seems to be especially important are feelings of positive connection with other people. Even interventions that don't rely on meditation lead to shifts upward in positive emotions and changes in cardy, vascular health.
