The Pro-Thrombotic Tendency in P&H
One of the biggest challenges of managing P&H is the pro-thrombotic tendency, which is a frequent cause of morbidity and mortality. Compliment and the coagulation cascade evolved at the same time. And there's a lot of cross talk between the two. We don't even keep them on anticoagulation anymore after we've treated their clot and treated their P&H with complement inhibitor.
