One way could be to destabilize a very very rigid fixed movement pattern which if you destabilize it slightly would allow it to become more fluid and adaptable. It's about co-designing with an athlete a practice task that challenges them so they've got to learn not to rely just on visual informationvisual feedback but other sources of feedback as well.
