The Mediterranean diet is a way of eating that was originally based on the traditional cuisines of Greece and Italy. It's very much seen as a temporary thing, which is not necessarily the best approach for long term success. For someone who really loves the numbers, the Mediterranean diet would probably be a nightmare. But if you're looking for a reeducation in terms of how to live a life that can support weight loss and health, then I don't think it's the worst thing in the world.
