The Importance of Sleep
Sleep is one of the three planks to living a longer life, apart from being intercepted by something terrible like cancer or whatever. Sleep's a big topic for me because I want to live to 100 and I know sleep's a really important part of that. And so therefore I've become extraordinarily interested in sleep patterns, sleep cycles, how to stay asleep when you wake up. So why is adequate sleep a major tenant in our actual physical and mental health? The biggest way to understand why we need sleep is to look at the dysfunctions which occur when we are sleep deprived. On a physical level, we feel exhausted. 70% of human growth hormone, the key catalyst for cellulose
