Meet our Speakers
Jenn Leaver leads the Developer Education team at Twilio and is responsible for the developer docs platform, site, and content. She previously led the documentation team at GitHub and wrote technical documentation for software companies across tech. She believes strongly in the power of democratizing tech through documentation. She lives in Michigan with her family.
Andrew Jiang: Prior to joining Fern to build out Fern Docs, I was a Forward Deployed Engineer at Palantir. Before Palantir, I frequented MLH hackathons as a student at USC (class of 19). I've worked across frontend and backend stacks and on infrastructure teams, on problems ranging from aircraft maintenance, clinical trials, and supply chain optimization, to generative AI for the US government. I joined Fern to solve the problem that has plagued my entire work experience as an engineer: writing and maintaining beautiful documentation.
Lorna Mitchell leads Developer Experience including documentation at Redocly, the home of OpenAPI and developer portal tools. After a career as a software developer, with an active blog and a few books on the side, she's spent the last few years leading DevRel teams and doc projects at technical companies, and sharing her knowledge with the world. Outside her day job, she's an open source maintainer and is on the Technical Steering Committee for OpenAPI. Lorna is based in Yorkshire, UK.
