The final defense is called resisting resistance. We can subtly and in a most insidious way, try too hard to not resist our fear. And we get little too excited about it. This is a principle from mindfulness also non striving. The alchemist's resolve resistance by simply watching and living through what happens next. In a warrior's stance, you resolve resistance by refusing to use the defense,. letting all that fear flood you in the span of a couple of minutes.
