Experiencing an Activation of a Nervous System
It's your body's way of letting you know that it senses danger or threat and wants to take you to safety. Experiencing activation of a nervous system is a normal, natural and a healthy part of life. For example, I used to live an absolute fear of other people saying anything negative about me. That means around this trigger of someone saying something negative to me, I have an expanded capacity for responding before I used to only be able to respond one way. Now I can respond in different ways.
