Africa and Dr. Nott's Anointing

Colonialism in Africa kicked off officially in 1884 with the Berlin Conference. The three seas of colonialism were civilization, Christianity, and commerce. As this was a time when microscopes were starting to become widely available, it was also a time when science was really one of the underlying foundations of colonialism at its height.
