There are a few examples of people that seem to be highly motivated to learn throughout their lives and who have an easier time doing it. Richard Feynman would be a good example the famous Nobel Prize winning theoretical physicist famous for bongo drumming naked on the Caltech roof for learning all these interesting things about music. He had this incredible spirit about learning he didn't have a problem being a beginner and then he would excel very quickly. There's something about childhood that makes it easy to learn so what is it now it could be that there's some chemical or some soup floating around the brain early and not later that if you took a pill you could learn.
