The Art of Self Compassion Therapy

Self compassion is holding yourself and others in compassion, regardless of the emotion that's coming up. For me, it can be helpful to have a guided meditation that helps me tap into the feelings. I worked with a lot of kids and families and adults with trama backgrounds that didn't have a foundational attachment,. t secure attachment that led to safe coregulation. And so i think the practice of therapy, even in just those doses of co regulation we can offer, can re wire the brain and heal in this this way.
