There's no fault to running tune up races. I'm a big believer if you really think that you're progressing faster than maybe you anticipated, then to run a two-up race. But there's a good way to just double kind of check yourself. You probably don't do a tune up race more than every three to four weeks. Every 4 to six weeks would be good for a tune up.
