Until that point in our lives, there was no brand that was like, a quintessential american brand and it could be pin pointed to an african American at the beginning. So this article spoke to you on multiple levels, not just the story off a black man who essentially invented jack daniel. It made me think how is it possible that this black man could have been so important and none of us know about it?
