The Origins of Leprosy

The disease that we call leprosy today caused by mycobacterium leprey. You may have heard of leprosy from its many mentions in the Bible or maybe watching Ben Herr, but you know, it's a classic movie. My mom forced me to watch it. Is it good? Should I watch it? I don't remember because I just remember hating the experience.
