Children's Health in Tigray
The BBC has found that nearly two and a half thousand children died of malnutrition in Tigray last year alone. The number of people displaced and at risk is staggering. A video from the far north district of Afarom shows starving mothers trying to take care of their malnourished children. We asked the Ethiopian government for an interview about children's health in Tigray but it did not respond. In the past officials have said there is no deliberate blockade of Tigray. That was Catherine Birohanga reporting. Alex Devarth what extent do you think the humanitarian crisis forced the two sides back to the negotiating table especially on the Tigrayan side? I think it definitely did.
